Kevyn Aucoin the Iconic Eye Set...

The Kevyn Aucoin Iconic Eye Set is a beautiful nude palette containing 5 custom hero products. The palette includes 2 iconic Kevyn Aucoin essentials, the Sculpting Powder in Medium and the Celestial Powder in Candlelight. It also comes with 3 gorgeous eye shadows, the Shimmer Shadow in Rose Quartz and matte shadows in Light Bone and Taupey Gray. It's the perfect palette to create timeless looks that will never date.

The Celestial Powder in Candlelight, this sheer, champagne coloured powder works beautifully as a highlight. It is designed to blur out any imperfections. Apply over foundations or on bare skin to highlight cheekbones, brow bone or as an all-over glow.

The Sculpting Powder in Medium, something that you may have spotted in my last post! This powder combines the perfect pigments that help recreate natural shading on the face. It's great as a contour through the eye socket to create definition and also through the cheekbones to easily enhance features. Kate Moss eat your heart out!

The Shimmer Shadow in Rose Quartz, a gorgeous shade that will suit every eye colour. This iridescent shadow creates dimension and light. It's a great colour I often use alone, sweep over the lid and add lashings of mascara.

The Matte Shadows in Light Bone and Taupey Gray. These staple shades are designed to be used as an all-over base shadow or as a crease contour for real definition. They are colours that will help transform any look.

Basic Black full-sized Eye Pencil, this waterproof eye pencil is 'perfection'. The smooth creamy formula is smudge-proof free and delivers a silky carbon black colour. The palette also comes with a small angled brush that is great for applying any of the shadows onto the upper and lower lash lines.

Overall it's a gorgeous palette that I am sure I will be getting a lot of use from. It seems to have the perfect colours for bridal makeup so I am really excited to use this on my next job.

Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tints Review...

Ever since Clinique first released the very popular and very cute Chubby Stick lip balms I have been a little obsessed. I have a few colours from the range and love every single one. But this review isn't about the lips, it's all about the Chubby Stick shadows!

They were first launched earlier on in the year in a whooping 12 shades and just like the lip balms, they grew increasingly popular. With their super cute packaging and range of gorgeous shades I really struggled to pick my first one. As I have blue eyes the lady on the counter recommended the shade ample amber, a gorgeous bronze, gold colour which compliments my eyes beautifully.

The unique design of the sticks make them so easy to use. No need to ever sharpen just twist the end and apply to the lid. The formulation is also pretty great, the pigmentation & longevity is second to none and they are so easy to blend. I either use my fingers or a blending brush and often wear this colour just by it's self. It looks really nice with lashings of mascara for a glamorous look and smudged underneath the eye. They also come in handy when I only have 5 minutes to put my makeup on, quick and easy to apply, it gives a nice sophisticated touch for a daytime/work look. They also make for a lovely base for other eyeshadows.

So all in all I love these shadow sticks and will definitely be adding more to my makeup bag. They are available for £17.00 each from all Clinique counters or you can purchase them online here.

Urban Decay Vice Palette...

Hi guys! I hope you are all having a wonderful start to 2013! So for Christmas I had asked Santa for a few make-up products that have been on my 'Wish List' for some time now! One of those was the Urban Decay Vice Palette, something that I have heard only good things about! It's been out for a little while now but I am so pleased I put it on my Christmas list.

The eye shadows are boxed in a really pretty case, it's solid & water resistant and with a touch of a button, opens up to reveal twenty shadows. It also has a really big mirror which is the perfect size to use while applying your makeup.

Urban Decay eye shadows have a tendency to shed so I would suggest to apply your shadow first before your foundation, otherwise things can get pretty messy. However the quality of the eye shadows is really good & they are really pigmented so show up beautifully on the lid. The range of colours is amazing, you can create so may different looks from a natural smokey eye to an eye catching colourful look.

Here are the swatches of the twenty shadows...

L-R Desperation, Muse, Jagged, Blitz, Penny Lane
Nevermind, Echo Beach, Anonymous, Freebird, Laced
Provocateur, Rapture, Vice, Noise, Armor

Junkie (my fav), Chaos, Occupy, Unhinged, Blue Market
The price of the palette is £42, that may sound a little pricey but you are getting 20 really good quality eye shadows & they come in the beautiful case. This is a great gift so if it's your birthday coming up I would totally recommend you ask for this as a gift. Just think about how many different looks you could create to celebrate in style!

If you already have this palette then let me know what you think, or if your a fan of Urban Decay, then what other palettes do you recommend?

Thanks for reading guys, love Becca...X

Sleek Palettes...

Sleek Makeup is a great, affordable drug store brand. They have a great range of products from blushers, foundations, lip glosses & these fabulous eye shadow pallettes.

The Sleek I Divine pallettes consists of 12 shades of high quality, super pigmented shadows. These mineral based shadows are smooth in texture and blend really easily to create beautiful, professional looks.

If your a big fan of Katy Perry or Nicki Minaj make-up looks then I would recommend the Ultra Bright pallette. These shadows will easliy help recreate any of their looks.

If you prefer the dark, smokey eye look often seen on Cheryl Cole or Kristen Stewart then try out the Ultra Dark pallette. These colours blend well together and will help give you a professional finished look.

Sleek is available at Superdrug and these pallettes are at an affordable price of just £7.99
